It’s Hard For Me To Love Myself Right Now

I spent the past week or so setting up my new blog (even the simplest of CSS modifications are a Sisyphean ordeal for me) and then drawing this picture for my friend Jessie’s birthday, so now, here’s an old comic from Comical Interlude 1.0. I’ve made a few small changes but it’s largely the same as it was when I first drew it, more than a year ago I think.

Just in case you’re wondering what Tim is doing up on the bed: at the time, I had just recently decided on a “no-photos rule” for my comics, so I had to replace the poster on Tim’s wall there, which was previously a photo of Keira Knightley. And I actually had a different poster to replace it, too, but I don’t like that one anymore so I’ve gone with this current one, which is just a panel from Sinfest that I coloured myself. I can’t remember which specific strip it’s from.

Hahaha… I find this comic hillarious still. Also, I like the no photos thing. Also, I agree on the CSS thing — my website was a bitch. Also, I’m your most dedicated fan, staying up till 4am to read this once you posted it.

Odd, I didn’t receive an email notification of this comment.

Anyway yeah, you clearly put my, like, three other fans to shame. You’ll have to whip them into shape at the next fan club meeting.

Can we define “excess” here? I just…want to know… out of sheer curiosity…that’s all.

Cool seeing the old classics get a fresh new look. Suhweet.

Unfortunately they were kinda vague on the details. But if it gets to the point where you’re somehow contracting cancer from it then maybe you should consider easing up a bit.

    Ha! Very amusing! And educational….
